WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ARTIST MANAGER AND AGENT?

One main difference between a manager and agent is that an agent has to be licensed by the state and a manager does not.  The practical result is that in the music business an agent’s job is to book tours and appearances, and in the motion picture business an agent’s job is to get their clients roles in movies.

We will study several training methods used to teach you how to prepare for a new career or job.  The training methods include on-the-job-training, and job mentoring.

How long does On The Job Training Take?

For a new employer, it depends on how long the employer takes to complete the pre-award survey, sign the agreement, and set up a training plan.  It also depends on how quickly a qualified worker can be hired for the job opening.  The average turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks.
